| Tony Flynn |
Two of the greatest living poets associated with Hull
& the East Riding - Tony Flynn and Ian Parks, in the company of Pat Borthwick - will be starring at a 'Write to Speak' session at the Hull Truck Theatre on the evening of Wednesday 3 February 2010, starting at 8:00 p.m., admission price £5.00.

|
| Ian Parks |
Ian has been described by somebody as the 'greatest
love poet of his generation', which always cracks us up as it conjures up an image of a bare-chested Ian, ear-ringed
like a pirate, bedecked with swooning lovelies. Go there and see for yourself, then report back. Ian, inevitably, will
be reading from his new collection 'SELECTED LOVE POEMS - 1979 - 2009'. There's staying power for
you.
The award-winning Tony Flynn, on the other hand will
present from his 'Mermaid Chair'. He has some fairly startling love poems too, especially as they
segue into separation, divorce and rejuvenation.
And if you miss Ian at The Hull Truck Theatre, you can
always catch him (again) at the Flux Gallery Press in Leeds on Saturday 13 February 2010.
