Nick Boldock is a short story writer and performance
poet who mixes comedy with politics and near-the-knuckle rhymes. He is very much for the grown-ups and does not pull any punches
and the language is sometimes a touch on the fruity side. As a founder member of Hull's now notorious Renegade Writers - he
sets out to banish the evil of the "poetry reading", his essence is on fun and enjoyment - bringing poetry to the
masses, to people who think they don't like poetry - but go home wishing they'd heard it done like that before.
